Performance Improvement: “Accredited CME as a Bridge to Quality”
Performance Improvement (PI) activities describe structured, long–term processes by which a physician or group of physicians can learn about specific performance measures, retrospectively assess their practice, apply performance improvement measures prospectively over a useful interval, and reevaluate their performance. As a provider of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, the Yale School of Medicine, through its Center for Continuing Medical Education, is committed to offering PI CME activities to support healthcare providers in making appropriate changes to their practice. Currently, Yale CME designates specified activities as CME–credit eligible towards Performance Improvement. In addition to attending a live activity and receiving credit for attendance, physicians may earn up to 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Completing a self–directed Performance Improvement activity will require the following:
Course Registration Form Upon acceptable completion of all 3 stages, you will be awarded an additional 5 credits for a total of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
