Diabetes Newsletter / Test Program

A long-standing offering, this program consists of a written newsletter and test presented twice each year based on highlights from the Annual Scientific Sessions of the American Diabetes Association, the American Cardiology Association, the American Heart Association and the European Association for the Study of Diabetes. Every four years, the tests also include coverage from the International Diabetes Federation Congress.

Robert S. Sherwin MD and Silvio E. Inzucchi MD, of the YSM Endocrinology Section of Internal Medicine, developed the program so that important information presented at the two conferences could be shared on a timely basis with those physicians who are unable to attend the actual conference.

A newsletter/test Yale CME program, the booklet contains four diabetes newsletters and a post-test. After successfully completing the test and evaluation form, participants will qualify for a maximum of 5.5 AMAPRA Category 1 Credits^TM for each of the two tests.
